Hypnosis has an 80% success rate when the client wants to quit.
“Hypnosis is the most effective way of giving up smoking, according to the largest ever scientific comparison of ways of breaking the habit. Willpower, it turns out, counts for very little.”
(Robert Matthews in The New Scientist.)
Both ‘Which Magazine’ and ‘The New Scientist’ have reported that hypnosis is the best way to give up smoking without cravings or becoming irritable.
Everyone knows the dangers of smoking – that cigarettes will kill 50% of long-term smokers and statistically a smoker is likely to live 13 years less than non-smoker but stopping isn’t easy.
Quitting is worth the effort though as the human body is a wonderful mechanism that can repair itself.
• 20 minutes of stopping smoking blood pressure drops to normal
• 8 hours of stopping smoking carbon monoxide levels return to normal
• 10 years after quitting lung capacity is back to normal.
• Between 10 and 15 years (depending on number of years smoking) the risk of heart disease is the same as a non-smoker.
The sooner smoking is stopped the sooner the damage can be repaired.
All it takes is the desire to stop for good and one long session with me to be an ex-smoker.
